"Your best moments, in focus."

My photography journey started at the age of 16. Well, maybe before then. Ever since I was little girl, I always reached towards the disposable camera's when we went to the store. I thought they were so cool. I also FELT so cool when I received one. I then got to take photos of the *coolest* things like, my aunt's dog, or the orange tree in our backyard. The feeling of getting super excited, and then twirling the camera's knob to get to the next possible exposure excited me so much.
SORRY- took a little backtrack there.
Years go by, and I'm 16. I BEG my mom for my first camera. My mom gets me this camera from one of her friends. I was so excited. I didn't know anything about brands, manual exposure, or any of that nonsense.  I played with it and figured out small things like, focus and the auto mode.  I was an AUTO girly for a long time.  After a while I got overwhelmed, and then the camera quickly collected dust in my closet.
It wasn't until I turned 20, that I wanted to take my photography seriously. I purchased my first camera off of facebook marketplace. I made sure that the camera I bought wasn't a sketchy deal. It was a Canon 6D and it came with a 50mm. (Of course I didn't know what that meant, at the time.) I did some research and tested the camera out on some friends and family. I had so much fun figuring everything out. I was still in college working towards my radiology degree. I worked on my photography mildly during my schooling. I graduated and got a job at the local hospital. I worked as a neuro-vascular and interventional radiology tech for about two years. Then the coolest thing happened...
I found out I was going to have a little baby. I stepped back from my NV-IR job role and returned to work after I had baby Mari.
I have been so blessed to experience such great things and meet remarkable people. It is truly my dream to be able to be a part of something grander. I get to be a part of so many people's lives and that makes me so happy and fulfilled.
XOXO,
Ally
